2.5 months Training and Internship

Short courses are a great way to test out a new field or master a specific skill. Short courses are also a quick way to boost your skills. If you are considering longer courses such as a Diploma but you want to get a better understanding of an area first, doing a short course first is a great option. Remember: This is not a AQF Qualification and no AQF certifications is issued as they are offered by Atlantis only for the purpose of up skill.

Intake Date:

Next intake on Monday, 20 May 2019. Classes run every Monday thru 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm for two and a half months followed by an short Internship Program.

Practical Training:

Day to day practical aspects of the bookkeeping job and educates a trainee to learn how to apply MYOB accounting as a tool to accomplish the day to day accounting job.

Theory:

The conceptual understanding and application of the Australian Goods and Service Tax (GST) and the Business Activity Statement (BAS) in business.

Hands-on:

Learn how to perform Bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Bank Reconciliation, and Business Activity Statement (BAS).

Training mode:

Training will be provided FACE-TO-FACE.

Training Material:

Training Booklet and Accounting package will be provided. Students will have to bring their own WINDOWS laptop.

Prospect after Training:

The training will provide a reasonable understanding of bookkeeping activities which includes preparing bank reconciliation statement, processing accounts receivable, accounts payable, BAS, Payroll and can perform accounting data entry jobs Or can perform an entry level job in the field of bookkeeping. After the Training and Internship Program a reference letter will be provided.
